The Cat Fanciers’ Association was established in 1906 and is intimately involved with EveryCat Health Foundation’s early history. In 1968, it established the CFA Foundation under the guidance of its counsellor, Robert H. Winn, which eventually became EveryCat. The CFA is known as the most prestigious pedigreed cat registering association in North America. The association’s mission is preserving and promoting pedigreed breeds of cats while also enhancing the well-being of all cats.

The International Cat Association® is the world’s largest genetic registry of pedigreed and household pet cats. TICA and its members work together to promote the preservation of pedigreed cats and the health and welfare of ALL domestic cats through education, responsible cat ownership, and proper care to the owners of millions of cats worldwide. EveryCat Health Foundation has been given TICA’s “Endorsement of Excellence” for improving the care of cats around the world.

The American Association of Feline Practitioners is a professional organization representing feline practitioners who are passionate about the care of cats. The AAFP is dedicated to advancing the field of feline medicine and surgery by setting the standards of feline care, including their Cat Friendly Program for veterinary practices. EveryCat and AAFP work together to fund scholarships and create disease guidelines that improve the practice of feline medicine.

The American Veterinary Medical Foundation is the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and partners with EveryCat to award scholarships to students attending accredited colleges of veterinary medicine. These scholarships benefit both those planning careers in clinical practice as well as encouraging students to pursue careers in research by recognizing those with leadership and dedication to advancing feline medicine.

Partners for Healthy Pets is an collaborative alliance of over 100 veterinary associations, colleges of veterinary medicine and animal health companies all committed to a vision of improved overall health for pets. PHP provides tools and resources that help communicate the value and benefit of preventive care, enhance the veterinary client relationship, and improve the overall quality of preventive healthcare provided for patients.
